LifeSport Athletes Shine at Sooke International Triathlon

Beautiful weather greeted athletes last Sunday in Sooke for the 6th annual Subaru Sooke Triathlon. The typical West Coast morning fog even stayed away to allow for amazing views as athletes ran along Whiffin Spit and for TSN to get some incredible aerial shots of Sooke. LifeSport Coaching had 5 athletes finish in the top 10!!!
LifeSport Athlete and Ironman 70.3 Champion Magali Tisseyre of St. Sauveur, QC, who got a 15-minute head start along with the other elite women ahead of the elite men in the Pro Chase, managed to hold off top male finisher Jeff Symonds to take the Pro Chase Championship title in 2:16:30!! Lisa Mensink came in 4th overall amongst the men and women with the time of 2:22:04, Jordan Bryden in 5th at 2:09:58, Lucy Smith in 7th place at 2:29:30 and finally Janet Nielsen in 10th with a finishing time of 2:37:40.
LifeSport women finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in their gender, while Bryden was 3rd overall male.
